"Overnight stop. We checked in late at about midnight and the receptionist was very helpful. All the staff were friendly and attentive during our stay. The only minor criticism is that the bed could have been a little better but all the bed linen was lovely "

"Hotel was nice, but the location was shocking. Upon arrival at 4pm on Wednesday, we were greeted with a group of topless guys all drinking in groups at the entrance of the car park. This only got worse later in the day when the group got bigger. Lots of anti social behaviour including someone being chased with a knife outside just past midnight resulting in a police attendance and chase. All in all would not stay in Taunton again."

"Excellent accommodation and setting was quiet and peaceful. Despite the weather Kids enjoyed feeding the animals and exploring the orchard. Everything we needed was on hand and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. "

"We had a 2 night stay to visit local National Trust properties. The owners are friendly and helpful and provide an excellent range of choices for breakfast. The only slight downside is that the rooms are on the small side. Although they don't serve other meals, they do allow you to bring in your own food and drink, or they will serve you drinks from the bar on demand. Most of the restaurants in the village are quite pricey, but the Foresters at the bottom of the village is better value and,...

"Beautiful location. Very dog friendly. We had a king size room overlooking the harbour. It was up a few flights of stairs but this was not an issue for us. Use of guest pantry which was a lovely touch. Very good breakfast menu. All staff were very friendly and helpful. "
