"The hotel is a little tired. We stayed in a small apartment which wasn't really clear it wasn't on the hotel property. Also no ac and it was pretty hot the days we were there. There are a few places to eat and drink, rather there could have been. Only one place was open limited hours during our stay. It was reasonably clean and the staff were all friendly, just for 600 a night we expected a little more. "

The large swimming pool was very clean and empty when we there. Nice bar with pool table and very friendly staff. Pleasant 15 minute walk through the forest to get to the centre. "Wir haben eine schöne Zeit in der Residence Lichtenvoorde verbracht. Die Anlage ist ruhig und hat eigentlich alles was man braucht an Infrastruktur. Es ist nur schade, dass der Park nicht groß genug ist für einen Brötchenservice oder ein Restaurant mit Frühstücksangebot. Allerdings war das Besteck bei Ankunft nicht sauber und man sollte die Silikonfugen im Bad mal erneuern. Das ist ein Aufwand von 1-2 Stunden und alle paar Jahre einfach notwendig. "

"We tried to book in early but they were unable to accommodate, which we understand. But our friend checked in 20 minutes later and he was accommodated. We went back at 3, as they asked, and the rooms still weren't ready. They gave us a voucher for a free drink for the 4 of us but when we got the bill, we were told it was only for non alcoholic drinks. The rooms were just average and the echoing down the hallway kept most of us awake. Just an OK hotel. Breakfast was good"
