"Me and my wife shared an absolutely superb 3 nights at Le Grand Montets Hotel. The location itself is in a very peaceful Argentière. Wry warm welcome from the staff on arrival. The hotel is beautiful, typically Savoie with lots of cool decorations throughout. The spa is great for winding down at the end of a busy day. "We had a beautiful suite on the 5th floor. Very cool with 2 showers, 2 sinks, separate toilet, sitting area, spacious bed area. Having to take 2 elevators up to the room was odd but not a big inconvenience. Staff was very helpful. No A/C but opening windows solved the problem. "

"Attached to the thermal baths and Nordic Spa is super convenient (access included in hotel rate). Staff try really hard to make it a pleasant experience. The rooms are reasonably up to date, though the bathrooms are smallish, particularly the showers. Dining options are slightly limited with the onsite buffet and the nearby Chalet a la carte Swiss traditional food. The included breakfast was decent basic offering, not high end. Overall a very pleasant and convenient way to do the Bains. "

"A beautiful hotel in a very quiet and secluded area. Very friendly staff that offered us a free upgrade and great advice about what to do and where to hike. The restaurant is also wonderful with probably one of the beat wine lists I've seen. Bravo! You must have a car to get to this place however. If you want to be close to Chamonix (but not IN Chamonix) it's perfect!"
