"I’m confident it will be better over time, but right now they have quite a bit to work on. Many drinking glass were not cleaned and spider web on some chairs. Despite >85% empty (my assumption) we got an apartment where we had to go up some stairs to reach it. No elevator and not possible to change. The reception is not very quick or helpful. Incredibly delicious, nourishing food made woth love and the freshest, healthiest, local, seasonal ingredients in traditional Alantejo way. Superb stay. My son and I both did not want to leave! "Wonderful hotel overlooking the sea, absolutely great meals were had here, a terrific bar and a very helpful and friendly staff. We had a double room with view of the sea, the fort and the cliffs, it was epic and very relaxing. We can’t wait to return!"
