The overhead shower wasn't very strong, and the smaller shower head had to be hand held because the holder was broken. The shower leaked water onto the bathroom floor. There was only one shelf in the bathroom and it was slatted, so the cheap sachets provided for shampoo etc fell to the floor. Basically there was no room to put anything. The sink plug was useless.
The beds were comfortable, and the bedding clean.
The swimming pool was quite nice, although the shallow end was too shallow for an adult to swim. But good non slip flooring all around it, and a good handrail for the mobility impaired.
Breakfast was OK but not as good a choice as I would have expected for the price charged. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful, though one or two were offhand. Coffee was great once someone pointed out that the Expresso machine in the bar was an option, if you could find someone willing to operate it. The layout of food and cutlery and plates was awful - so hard to find anything!
There was an unmarked slope on the dining area floor, which was disconcerting for me, and worse for those less mobile.
The buffet dinner is worth considering if you don't want to leave the hotel; the local restaurants are much better - but pricier.
You can't beat the view, either from the rooms on the front or from the bar area. This is really the only reason to stay here - that and the pool.
