"We came for a week to attend a wedding and see family members and friends in the DC area. We were very pleased with our stay. The room was clean and comfortable and had a mini frig which was great to have. The staff could not have been friendlier and more helpful (extra hangers, towels, water, breakfast vouchers. The free shuttle van was a very convenient and easy way to get to--and back from the waterfront area. Higlhy recommend."

"Comfortable bed, clean room and bathroom but the hotel downstairs outside the restaurant smelled like back up sewer mixed with mold and mildew."

"Staff super helpful and friendly. Room spacious and comfortable. Nice bed and pillows. WiFi worked well. Adjoining rooms on either side made it less quiet than ideal. Food was just ok w a limited menu. I walked to frying pan park every day for a horse clinic but it’s definitely not a walk-friendly area. Restaurants r not close enuf to walk but taxi/Lyft service is readily available and reasonably priced. "

"Always have loved staying here but it’s been years since my last stay. Have always loved it. Check in young woman was excellent. Very sweet and professional. Woman at front desk at check out seemed bothered and unfriendly. Gentleman “manager” I’m assuming who was often behind the desk in the background never stops looking at his cell phone and cutting up behind the desk while people were lined up waiting. Just found it all very unprofessional for this classy place, as he should have been...
