"Always a queue to check in, the lifts broke while we were staying, but they did let us use the staff lifts, staff are helpful & friendly, always clean & smells lovely! "

"Visited the hotel because we had tickets for the T20 finals day at Edgbaston. Hotel is very modern and clean, excellent communial areas, nice bar and restaurant and the rooms are well appointed. Will definitely be back "

"Location was just right for us, room was very clean with everything we needed. Had a few concerns upon my arrival regarding noise from an adjacent room, reported this to the reception, to which they dealt with straight away. Breakfast area was very presentable with a good selection of everything we needed. Breakfast staff were very helpful and made sure the breakfast area items were always in good supply. Will stop there again. *****"

"Walking distance of city center and major shopping and attractions. Parking is £26 a night. Not too many dinner options close by. Transportation is available though. "

"Friendly staffs. Lesser hassle when checking in where you can check-in online. I have a non-British passport where I need to enter my details. The room is big including the toilet which is a disabled access one so, I don't have an idea about the size of an ordinary room. The hotel is also close to some grocery stores and restaurants. The only issue that I have was the toilet where the amount of water when flushing is not enough and I need to flush it a couple of times."

"Overall, a great stay. Had an unfortunate incident where the room key didn’t work twice, so a bit of a trek back and forth to the room as the hotel is pretty big, but otherwise this was our second positive stay here this year. Incredibly helpful reception staff kindly gave us a free upgrade and added breakfast when they realised it wasn’t on our original booking. Rooms and furniture are a little tired in places, so a refresh would be welcomed. And ideally a fridge in each room would be great for...

"Lovely hotel with a lot of character & stunning original features. Without exception, all the staff were helpful & friendly. Our room was very comfortable & breakfast was excellent. We had time for a walk around the beautiful grounds in Coombe Abbey Park before checking out. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay & would definitely recommend!"
