"This is a solid choice if you are in the area. The hotel isn't cutting edge and your rooms will feel dated with few amenities but there isn't anything "wrong" with any part of the hotel. Everyone has their own preferences, admittedly. Personally, I found the bed to be uncomfortable and when I woke up in the morning I felt like I wasn't well-rested. "A very brief but lovely stay. Large rooms overlooking the Fulda and Werra rivers. Thank you to the friendly staff who were all to willing to help with our questions. Lovely town, full of half timbered houses."

"We got spectacular winter weather, so the view and balcony were quite wonderful. Reception was particularly welcoming and helpful with our special requests and even managed to sort out a spa treatment at the last minute. I had the small but well-appointed spa/sauna area all to myself, fun and relaxing. Oddly, the room amenities were spare: one liquid soap/shampoo combo product was it, had to rent(!) a spa robe. But the low-season price, included breakfast, spa with treatments, and gorgeous area...

"We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is in a lovely location high on a hill overlooking Rodenberg. The room is very nice. The service is excellent. I have food allergies and they looked after me with great attention and care. The meals were wonderful. Rodenberg is a beautiful place to visit with a lovely walking tour. We will be visiting again!!"
