"We had a truly enjoyable stay! The staff was warm, engaging, and genuine. Every interaction felt sincere, and it was a pleasure speaking with them. The room was clean, the bed very comfortable, and the overall atmosphere welcoming. The only real challenge we had was finding our room. The hotel layout is a bit confusing, possibly due to past renovations. We were given a pamphlet with instructions, but it didn’t clearly explain how to get to our room or mention any shortcuts. It took us about 15 minutes to locate it, and we weren’t alone. We met six other guests during check-in who were also in town for their children’s graduation. Later, we ran into them on the second floor, and they were still trying to find their rooms. We had to call the front desk for help, and someone came quickly, which we really appreciated. When my husband and I returned from our event later that evening, we ran into Josiah, the maintenance technician, outside. He kindly offered to help us find our room and walked us through with professionalism and care. Josiah was a standout genuine, helpful, and dedicated. You’re lucky to have him on your team.. This isn’t a complaint just a kind suggestion. Clearer instructions in the pamphlet and a little more direction training would go a long way. "The Wyndham Newport Hotel exceeded all our expectations!! It was a beautiful hotel. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The restaurant, Johnny's, in the hotel was excellent. We also really enjoyed the salt water indoor pool. The free hourly shuttle into and back to downtown Newport was extremely helpful for us being that parking is very limited and traffic can be very bad at times.The drivers, Mike and Billy gave us a lot of valuable information we used during our stay."

"We enjoyed our stay. Great proximity to the tennis hall of fame, coffee shop, restaurants, and stop and shop if you need groceries. Staff was accommodating and helpful. Only things we didn’t like was that the curtains could be better at keeping light out. The sun came in early. We’ll certainly be coming back next year. "
