"Quelle déception!! Un hôtel qui pourrait être un bijou mais qui part complètement à la dérive. Tout a été laborieux du début jusqu’à la fin. Problème de Check in, climatisation dans la chambre qui ne fonctionnait pas, problème de clés plusieurs fois par jour, petit déjeuner sans aucun service et pas digne d’un 4 étoiles et un personnel complètement dépassé, voir désabusé. "Put at the top of the site - furthest away from all facilities. Steep hill to get back home was a killer. Electricity went off twice whilst we were there abandoned a wash we had paid for that we were doing and the camp would not reimburse us. We could not cook due to no electricity left us hungry for hours as the shop kept odd, short hours. The pool was grubby and not well kept. The bar staff were surly. No mention anywhere that we needed our own linen, so we had to buy some when there. No...

Garrigae Abbaye de Sainte Croix

10/10 Excellent

"What a wonderful experience. It truly is an old renovated Abby complete with a chapel. The views are stunning. In the distance we could see a large body of water which I think is the Etang de Barre. We loved hanging out the pool, extremely relaxing. And there was a least 1 huge indoor fireplace that looks like it is really used in the winter. The entire place was relaxing. We only stayed 2 nights and wished we had stayed longer. Yes, it could use a little updating, but that is part of the charm. Very romantic for us. I would highly recommend for couples or for groups of friends that really just want to relax and enjoy all of the facilities. Would be an incredible destination wedding spot. You can sit around - inside or out - and talk for hours. They also make some great cocktails...and have an award winning restaurant. Great staff. They even gave us a bucket of ice to enjoy wine we had bought elsewhere. Also, great central location for day trips through out Provence."
