I had the best breakfast and the best night’s sleep of my entire trip to the south of France and the man on reception tried to communicate properly with me. "Property was great, location great however I due to difficult communications I didn’t appreciate being loudly ‘ summoned’ by an irate hotel manager and shouted at by her for taking up an extra foot in the garage especially as I (thought) I had been told this was ok….I felt very uncomfortable over what was an innocent and minor mistake. The other guest an Australian chap (nice guy) needed the space also said he felt awkward about how she dealt with it. Otherwise a wonderful place "

"Arriving at the property via the small lanes not helped by GPS navigation led to very low expectations. Once inside the gate there was a surprise. The property is an ancient convent with a lovely Chaple. The grounds a wildly planted with many different and interesting ponds, large fountains, and plantings.
