"I checked in solo two days earlier than a group I was going to meet. As I had requested, the hotel was able to keep me in the same room for the duration of my visit, which was very convenient. "Great hotel only 3-4 mins walk from the train station and 3-4 mins from the town centre. It is well maintained and spotlessly clean throughout. The lady on reception was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. My only minor issue is that the room was very warm, even with the heating off and window open all night. Great for winter, not so good for summer. But I would still happily stay here again. "

"Our room at the Maya Caprice looked over the Lauterbrunnen valley and the Swiss Alps. It was stunning. To add to that, the room was large, well stocked and very comfortable. "We were welcomed with a drink on the beautiful balcony while they brought our bags to the room. The room was spacious and air conditioned, however; the comforter was heavy. The breakfast was wonderful. A very nice buffet with an incredible view. They even had mimosas! The spa and outdoor tub looked nice but we did not use. We would definitely stay here again. "

"Our first impression of this hotel was not so good... a hotel built in the 1990s with a somewhat strange layout and in need of modernization. It’s definitely not a 4-* hotel. However, first impressions can be wrong. The spa in a separate building was quite amazing and the best after a day of skiing or hiking. Dinner on the top floor was very good and staff was very attentive. Not our first choice for a holiday but for a stopover this hotel was quite OK."
