"This is a very interesting museum style hotel. It has. Tunnels and bomb shelters two stories under the hotel from the Spanish Civil War. There is museum quality art work and sculpture. They have many freebies."

"The Wi-Fi was great and the bed was too soft. It’s an oddly lonely property amidst the places you want to be with a minimal staff (the receptionist does check-in, check-out, manages your left luggage AND preps the breakfast buffet!). The room was longer than it was wide (be careful not to bump your head on the walls) and an itty bitty pool suitable as a birdbath. All this said, it had an ample bathroom with a walking shower and plenty of towels (that disappeared the second night)."

"This was a very nice respite from the crowds in the bigger cities. I we were greeted by a very nice lady, who appeared to be in charge of the whole thing, very nice, very helpful, very friendly. The hotel is quirky as a very old building can be, and was really beautiful. our room overlooking the rooftops of the village was very comfortable and quiet. Everything about our stay, was perfect, including having an excellent restaurant just a few blocks away."

"In January, out of season, the bar and restaurant were closed. I was unable to make a good night herbal tea as there was no kettle on in the room. The TV was tiny and not adjustable to make for easy viewing except in bed."

"the grotto style design, with cobbled paths and lots of steps was not very good for people with limited mobility. Also, rather old fashioned, slightly surly service. IT remindNot so gooded me of the 1950s."

"A palatial room. Centre of Baeza. Walking distance to bus station. Very close to parking station. Large room with gorgeous furniture. Large bathroom. Lashings of hot water. Spotlessly clean. Friendly staff. Good internet. Cons: Rooms are around the dining area so can get noisy at mealtimes and late night celebrations. No window in my room so couldn't check the weather..or to see if it was daylight. Limate control difficult to work."
