Very great for solo travelers who want a quiet night

My wife and I were overwhelmed by many aspects of our stay - the warm and helpful staff, the condition of our junior suite, the food at the restaurant (breakfast buffet and prix fix lunch) and the overall ambiance. The only problem was that ours was a street facing room and after a late night check-in at 7 am we were blasted out of bed by a loudspeaker broadcasting "community announcements". (This is after all, still a nominally communist country!) Hotel staff felt badly and extended our check...

This is the best hotel in Hanoi. Location is excellent. Our room was so quiet we did not hear any of the street noise. Everything was immaculately clean. The staff were so lovely, especially Daria at the front desk - so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was 10/10, so many options at the buffet plus an additional a la cart menu that was all included - eggs made to order, vegetarian bun cha, many Vietnamese options as well as western. Highly recommend!

Very clean, great food and excellent service provided by all the staffs. Inside the hotel, everything is perfect. But once you step out the hotel, you immediately feel walking into the different world. Dirty, narrow streets occupied by lots of shady houses and small businesses shops. You will probably woke up very early morning by the loud talking from the streets. You probably will hear some old guys singing off key. Now I understand why the hotel provide guests with earplugs. We booked the...

Very friendly

Wonderful property and the best staff ever! They were so kind and helpful. They gave wonderful recommendations and booked our trip to Ha Long Bay. The breakfast was delicious and full of variety. When it was time to leave, they scheduled a car for us and even walked us out. Just an amazing experience overall!

Can't say enough good things about our stay here! Extremely professional and helpful staff. Excellent buffet breakfast. The most comfortable bed I've ever slept in! Great location as well. 10 out of 10 for everything!

Beautiful hotel and our room. In the heart of Old Quarters, very walkable to everything. Great roof-top bar/restaurant. Breakfast spread each day was fantastic. Hotel staff, (especially want to call out Ngan Phan) was friendly and helpful. Ngan took care of special requests to perfection and had great recommendations.

Great hotel, charming, spacious and an escape from the motorbikes and thriving hustle and bustle. The staff makes this experience greater then can be described. Stayed here for 4 nights and won't stay anywhere else in Hanoi.

The hotel was comfortable and clean. Location was very concurrent. The staff was extremely helpful and booked an airport car pick up service as well as car service for the following day. We really enjoyed the breakfast as well.

Great location, staff, and rooftop bar!

The location, service and friendliness of the staff was excellent. However the location also means a lot of noise on the weekends as Hanoi parties around the same location and lots of noise when the platforms are dismantled Sunday night into early Monday mornings. Would recommend ear plugs be kept in all front facing rooms and guests be told about it so they can switch rooms to a back facing one especially if you have early morning Monday flights. Overall an excellent hotel

We arrived at Hanoi and were immediately greeted by our driver to take us to the hotel. We were greeted with warm tea and dried ginger apricots while we waited for our check-in to complete after we handed over our passport. Our room overlooked the train street and it was very pleasant. Room was cozy. The bustling noises from Hanoi didn’t migrate to our room and everything quieted down during bedtime. Breakfast buffet was great. We only stayed one night because we left for Ha Long Bay the next...

My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Minerva Church Hotel! The room was super comfortable and had lovely windows. The breakfast was impeccable, we already miss the pho! The staff were very friendly and helped us get laundry done and get a car to the airport.
