"The property is beautiful and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast at 1853 is exceptional, so many options! Staying at this hotel is a great experience"

"Lovely breakfast, good facilities. To note: not particularly friendly for young family with baby as no step free room access or cot in room. However, great location for families with high street and restaurants near by."

"Room was airy and clean. Shower was dated and water wasn’t very hot. Upon arrival was a wedding but it was chaos in reception as they were all at the bar and surrounding areas and no one could hear themselves speak at check in. Same in the evening, if you weren’t part of the wedding party you had to keep clear as the venue was full of guests mainly vaping in the entrance! Breakfast choice was good. Not enough chairs or places to sit at the pool (due to a health condition I’m not able to use...

"excellent overall nice rooftop bar"

"Clean room and polite staff. The spa was sup"

"Good sized room and bathroom. No safe in the room and on the second morning, housekeeping didn't shut the door properly so anyone could have just wandered in. I'd booked room only so can't comment on breakfast. A pleasant stay, however and location is perfect."

"The breakfast was amazing! A very unique location and a place we would recommend"

"Very spacious and clean room and great location"

"Very relaxing overnight stay at The Malvern - Fionnula on the check in desk was so lovely and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble and my partner and I felt very looked after. The room was clean and comfortable with plenty of toiletries provided. The spa itself is amazing with lots of different types of hot rooms and jacuzzi to relax in. I would definitely stay at The Malvern again! Thanks so much all."

"Good parking and breakfast. Hotel in need of a refurb, would not stay again. That said, staff were pleasant and doing their best to be helpful."

"Gorgeous building with interesting historical links and facts. Breakfast was nice, if a little pricey"
