"Have stayed in this hotel many times and have always rated it excellent. However this time I ended up in an attic that was obviously part of the roof, due to the roof support beams in the room. There was a very steep and unmarked step to get into the room and from the bathroom into the room. The room was very tiny and had a very low sloping ceiling (the roof) , that was very dangerous for hitting your head when walking around the room and getting out of bed. It certainly wasn't a superior room...

"The hotel is in a 16th century 4 story building, incredibly charming inside, made to preserve the medieval look but with all of the modern amenities. We stayed on the third floor in room 302. The room had exposed roof beams throughout, including the bathroom. The two things we didn’t like were the roof beams right above the bathtub/shower. Not very comfortable to shower especially for a taller person. Guessing floors 1 and 2 don’t have that issue. Secondly there was no shower glass partition or...
