"We visited low season but for us it was perfect. We stayed 5 nights, mid. June. The staff were wonderfully friendly and polite. Whilst part of the hotel was closed, junior suite, for renovation it did not affect us in any way. The weather was just right to, Not too hot or wet. Rain came late afternoon in the form of a sprinkle twice and overnight once but nothing much. The Royal Nadi is simply lovely. A bit outside of dusty and hot Nyuang Shwe, it's close enough (a few minutes drive or about a 20 minute bike ride) into town. The setting is beautiful, with a great sun deck overlooking a beautiful pond, with spectacular sunset views. The service is 5 STAR, without a doubt.
