"Requested and paid for a superior room with excellent views. Ended up with a nice view of the lake and mountains blocked meaningfully by the asphalt roof of the terrace below us. We asked for our room to be changed and were denied. I felt taken advantage of …. I wanted a perfect view which is why I chose that hotel and paid for the view. I did not expect to have to overlook a flat black asphalt roof while I enjoyed the view. Additionally the air conditioning was not working and the room...

"Attached to the thermal baths and Nordic Spa is super convenient (access included in hotel rate). Staff try really hard to make it a pleasant experience. The rooms are reasonably up to date, though the bathrooms are smallish, particularly the showers. Dining options are slightly limited with the onsite buffet and the nearby Chalet a la carte Swiss traditional food. The included breakfast was decent basic offering, not high end. Overall a very pleasant and convenient way to do the Bains. "
