"Property is very clean and modern, room is decent size. I was worried I’ll hear the lobby party in my room - not even a bit! Plus party ends at reasonable hour, very thoughtful of guests who are tired after skiing. Ski in and out is great, just make sure not to be like me and miss the last ski lift 😄 then it becomes an uphill walk to get to the hotel. The best part of this property - staff. "The hotel is tired and dated. The decor is old fashioned and there are parts of the hotel that are in need of updating or repair, especially the area near the ski locker room. There is a lack of atmosphere in the hotel, which is a shame as it could be a great place. It is in a great location for the ski lift, and the rooms were comfortable and showers were good. "

"The whole place needs massive renovations and did not jusify paying over 3100 euros for a 1 bedroom apartment. Considering the week after (we went on UK half term) the price drops to a third of a price, I would consider it a total rip off and taking customers for a ride. The owners admitted they are going through a 4 Million euro renovation project next summer which goes to show the state Alpina property. Don't go there until it is renovated in 2026. "

"The hotel has a very interesting layout. It was buiilt in 1937 and is similar to the Gugenheim museum in NY, in a sense that the rooms are arranged around a spiral corridor that goes up from the first floor all the way to the 8th. Advantages: the breakfast was very good, a lot to choose from. The hotel is very close to ski lifts - about five minutes drive and the hotel provides a shuttle bus. It is also a 2 minute walk to the center of the little town of Sauze d'Oulx where shops, restaurants...
