"Beautiful place. But floor in the bathroom was a little sticky. Yuck. When I checked in, I was shown a beautiful dining room where breakfast would be served. But then, instead, it was served in a much more shabby room. Also, the included breakfast was quite skimpy. Extra charge for a real breakfast. (Also, I may be wrong, but I don’t think the word “potatoes” appears anywhere on the menu. Of course, you do serve potatoes - with a delicious omelette that I enjoyed, for example.)"

"Came into town for a wedding and got to stay at this fabulous B&B for a very nice price. Walkable from everything touristy and beautiful in town including the waterfront about a block away. 2 restaurants and a coffee/bagel joint right around the corner. The main house was very cool and had a museum feel with some original carpentry and masonry. The Rajah room had a brand new bathroom with a huge comfy bed and a fancy clawfoot tub. There was air conditioning during the day, but we kept windows...

Loved all the extra touches you don't get in a hotel, hot tea, organic apples, exquisite soaps, fine books and chimes from antique clocks. I would highly recommend Elizabeth's Tavern to anyone who is looking to experience an immersive "colonial feel" with all the comforts of modern day living."
