"The location was ideal for getting around Vichy. The immediate area (and the hotel itself) seemed in need of some polishing and updating. My broken French and their English made things easy. "The room smelt of bad drains. In fact the whole corridor smelt awful as we were walking to the room. We were so tired from the journey we put up with it and mentioned it at reception when paying.
