"We checked in at the end of a long and beautiful day touring Mijas Pueblo. The staff greeted us with huge smiles and huge patience for my bumbling Spanish. I joked with my girlfriends that i immediately judge a hotel as classy and thoughtful when there’s a beautiful setting for fresh water or a treat there in the lobby: exceptional at Ilunion! The room was perfect for the three of us friends traveling together. Breakfast was affordable and worth it with a large variety of foods to choose from. Most important of all, attentive and friendly staff who seem to truly enjoy being there. Parking was free but a little difficult- i think there was a reception going on there. "

"The accommodation was bright, modern, clean and had everything you needed. Bonus was the little balconies in our room where you could sit comfortably and enjoy the view. Location is superb. Only stayed for 3 days but would not hesitate to stay for longer in this property. Only one negative (but just me being picky) the shower would benefit from being larger. The bedroom is big enough so the bathroom could easily have been larger. This would not stop me from staying again though. Highly recommend!"

"Perfect stay except for meal options . Not much choice of restaurant if any for a quiet meal. The Terrazza should not be closed when there is a party at the clubhouse! Beds not confortable at all. Pool water very cold."
