The hotel is remote, a drive with steep curves if you are driving a manual transmission, but so worth it. It is less than an hour from the Frankfurt airport. My room was up two floors with no elevator but the hotel staff carried up the suitcases without a problem. There are 2 restaurants, one is a high end gourmet establish for the "foodie" crowd. Our stay at the lake hotel was simply wonderful. The room was very spacious, cozy, and tastefully furnished. It was spotlessly clean, and the bed was excellent. The entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of choices, and the evening meals were outstanding. We especially enjoyed the sauna, the hotel’s private beach right on the lake, and our large terrace. In short, we highly recommend this hotel.
