"We were married here in 2015 and return regularly. It is a truely unique place, away from it all out in the beautiful Tasmanian rainforest. A place to relax, get in touch with nature, escape the hustle and bustle and recharge. The accommodation is clean and comfortable, if a little outdated. "Our room was clean, comfortable, spacious and well-appointed. It had a lovely view of the bush and afforded an opportunity for sighting wildlife, however the balcony was minute. The breakfast buffet was varied and adequate. The quality of our evening meals was excellent and the staff serving us were friendly and efficient. Given the cost of the room ($450 per night) we were disappointed by the state of the carpeting adjacent to the balcony (see attached photo). This is something that should have been rectified. "
