"Clean hotel, lots of staff on reception and they are always friendly. Great selection of beers at the bar. The only negative thing is that the rooms are very hot! Thermostat default is 23c and you can only turn it up or down by +/- 3c. And it resets to default when you leave the room. Luckily the windows open."

"We love this beautiful peaceful place surrounded by nature. We’ve stayed three times now and will keep going back whenever we’re in Europe. The spa area is so relaxing, the included breakfast is delicious, the nature trails are gorgeous, and the staff are kind and welcoming. It’s a lovely retreat! "

"Property was nice and good location. However cleanliness wasn't great - when we checked into our room I found hairs from previous occupants in the shower on the wall and the floor which is poor. Breakfast was ok but very busy and it was hard to find a table to sit at at peak times, even though you had to put your name down for what time you would be attending breakfast. Staff were friendly. "Hotel Koldingfjord was fantastic, impressive, beautiful, peaceful, and more. I wish we spent more time here. I fell in love with Denmark in part because of Hotel Koldinfjord. I definitely want to return. The hotel was going through some construction improvements, but it did not take away from or joy in being there. If anything, it will make our next visit even more enjoyable."

"Nice hotel in the centre of town with some good food options inside. Downside would be the church bells right outside your window. If you need/like to sleep during the day or want a sleep in, the bells are quite loud and will probably disturb you even with your window closed. They start at 7am and finish at 10pm."
