"The two girls that helped me out were extremely helpful and kind. One was a bit newer, the other had been there a while. They went out of their way to let me in the gym until they closed, as well as helped me out with tea, and recommendation. I didn’t have wifi in my room and they did their best to get the wifi situated in a way that helped me. I didn’t end up getting better signal, but it was the effort on their part that showed me they were willing to go above and beyond. Close trip to Hallstatt, and Bad Ischl itself was beautiful. Wish there were more open food options but if you look hard enough or ask for recommendations you can find a couple good ones. Great location right by the water, restaurant had a fantastic steak, and breakfast buffet was also very good. Will return one day."

"To be clear, it’s not a fancy hotel, but the price-quality ratio was great, in my view. They had a very attentive and helpful staff at the front desk, a very decent breakfast (again, given the price of €9), free parking right across the street and excellent connection to the city center. I’d stay there again, particularly when visiting the town by car. "
