"The hotel is situated in a busy area close to the shops (a big mall 5 min walk away) bars and restaurants. We booked this hotel because the pictures looked great and it had good reviews, however, we would not say that this was a 4 star hotel. We stayed in other 4 star hotels around India and they were magnificent, this hotel wasn’t. The facilities were dated, it was a little messy, it just didn’t feel as a 4 star establishment. "Everything was good except refusing include breakfast with our reservation, even though I showed them that when I booked through Expedia there is breakfast included with the booking price . They charged us for breakfast during all the 4 nights of staying "

"The staff at reception and the restaurant were exceptionally warm and friendly and helpful. But the room was not worth the money. Glass sliding window could not be locked and it was a minor security threat. Tap on the bathroom sink was loose. The white mat on bathroom floor was dirty and someone had kept it folded just not to show the stains. Breakfast buffet is inr 350 and some items were not very fresh, could improve. Overall still good, but there's room to grow. Would go again if nearby...

"I spent my last night in India at the Malabar House in Fort Kochi and it was quite the treat. I was upgraded to the Garden suite and the room was stunning from the fixtures to the artwork. The staff was friendly, helpful, and efficient. The food was fantastic! The hotel is ideally located just a block or two inland from the harbor and the fishing nets. Gorgeous property. "

"Place is nothing like what they advertise in the pictures. Place smells like a smoking (cigarette) zone and A/C doesn’t work properly. Bed linen seems old untidy and the staff could have been more friendly and decent"
