"This was a great stay and the staff went the extra steps to ensure our stay was amazing. Showing up with a sports car they did ensure that I had options for ground clearance when parking underground. The room was clean and full windows for great light. Beds are comfortable and very quiet. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants to visit Montreal and be in walking distance to all attractions and amenities. "

"We have tried several other hotels in Montreal, all pleasant, but Place d'Armes is our favorite. The rooms are generous and comfortable, the showers (or bath tubs) are wonderful, and the bed is comfy. It's location couldn't be better on the edge of "old" Montreal, near Notre Dame, the "subway", and a number of excellent restaurants. We love the coffee set-up in the morning which lets us take it back to room. The pool table is so much fun, too, after dinner and a ritual for us. All in all a great...

"The hotel was modern, clean, comfortable, and in a great location. It also has an impressive gym and pool. My only reason for giving 4 stars is the schedule for room cleaning is quite late in the day. We came back to the room around 5pm to get ready for dinner and our room wasn't cleaned. I found staff down the hall and got new towels but then our room wasn't cleaned at all that day. On the next day, similar situation but she was just finishing up the cleaning and so we waited by the pool."
