"We only stayed one night and I loved the professionalism and hospitality of the staff here so much. Everyone was very friendly and the rooms were beautiful. The spa package we got was amazing and staff was fantastic throughout. All staff speak English which is a definite plus for someone like me who can understand Spanish but not speak it well. The area is walkable and there’s an Oxxo about a block away. I highly recommend this hotel!"

"It has a lovely aesthetic! I like the concept of the place. The terrace is beautiful and has 4 beautiful views of the city and concert arena. You can eat, rest, read and work up there. Casa de La Ciudad, is a local library less than a block away with a lot to read and research. Only down side to this place is the air conditioning, but a good trick is to open the windows and use the fan and wear cool pajamas. I’ll definitely return when the weather is less hot. "

I needed assistance at 2am and the night clerk came to my aid without hesitation. Then for the rest of my stay all the staff inquired if I was ok and could they help me. Way above what is expected. "Fantastic small boutique hotel in Oaxaca. Lots of personal touches from the check-in process to the breakfast cook and staff on the rooftop terrace eating area. It's in the heart of everything, but quiet enough that it's not obvious. If you're looking for a large hotel, this is not your vibe. But if you're looking for a boutique hotel run by a family with tons of hands on touches and authentic architecture and design + big rooms + AC - - this place is the jam!! Definitely recommend "
