"We were only there for a brief layover. We very much enjoyed the bar, the special wine and the perfectly done burgers. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. Finally, the reception staff helped us with transportation to and from the airport that made our brief stay comfortable and relaxing. "

"This is a very good historical hotel. The staff were great. The only draw back was PARKING. Well, when they say parking it’s not what one thinks of. This was a very tight car elevator that brought you underground parking. Very tight and only fits I believe 6-8 cars. I parked once and that was it. Paid a lot of money downtown but worth not dealing with the tight parking. "

"Very nice hotel with excellent staff, especially whomever checked us in and Ana, who worked the evening shift. We enjoyed the sauna and steam room after a beautiful walk around town. Two pools. Upscale with an excellent value. 12 Euro cab ride to/from airport. The use of fragrance in cleaning products and laundry detergent made the room and bed overpowering for me, as I have chemical sensitivities. Highly recommend this hotel but ask for a “green cleaned” room if you have chemical or fragrance...

"Lovely property with furnishings like from a comfortable old fashioned home. Bed was very nice, room was spacious with a/c, bathroom nice. Shower/bathtub has one of those plastic shields wh we n showering but water gets all over the floor anyway. 🙂 The restaurant and its staff are is good focusing on Italian dishes. Staff at front desk are efficient but not friendly, except for one woman who was nice. You can leave your luggage if you arrive before the 2pm checkin time. There’s a lovely...

"We had a lovely stay at Senhora da Rosa. The staff were lovely and helpful and the facilities were great. The pool and spa area was really nice; we had a lot of it to ourselves as most people are out exploring the island. Staying in Ponta Delgada was a great way to explore the island. It was a nice peaceful area although quite a long walk which is just something to bear in mind as we did find it better to eat out during the day and just have something from the bar menu on an evening as it was...
