"This was a gorgeous property and hotel in a picturesque setting. Breakfast was delicious and the hotel bar is nice. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the bathroom is so small. Perhaps this isn't the case in the better rooms - we took the basic room."

"We stayed two nights during our honeymoon. The hotel/room/town were all adorable. Our suite was spacious and clean. There’s a bus stop in front of and across the street from the hotel. Ettal Abbey is also across from the hotel. The front desk has a visitor card for guests to use for free local bus travel (after 5 euro deposit/per person). We used it to travel to the Schloss Linderhof and Oberammergau. We used the pool, saunas and massage amenities. Absolutely loved our stay and wish we stayed...
