"Hotel is lovely staff are excellent. My only disappointment is the extras. I paid £185 for a room with breakfast only to find out that it covered continental only and if I wanted to upgrade to full English I could but at an extra cost. On checking out there was any another stealth cost for parking of £10. Really, we’re in Cornwall not a major city centre and the hotel own the car park. This tainted what was a lovely stay "

"Great place to stay, food good, comfý bed and the staff are all extremely helpful. I wouldn't stay anywhere else when going to that part of Cornwall. My only negative comment is the indoor pool was cold and it has a outdoor jacuzzi which is cold too, they have just had this refurbished so maybe management will be improving the problem. They provide a shuttle bus to Polzeath and Rock, from Rock you can get the little ferry across to Padstow. The area is quite and relaxing with a few restsurants...

"Lovely one night stay as part of a road trip down to Cornwall. The host was lovely and friendly and made us welcome. The room was comfortable and quiet and we slept well. Delicious cooked breakfast in the morning. Ideally I’d have liked a bigger bath sheet that could wrap round me after a shower but for a short stay it was perfectly fine. "
