Everything at the hotel was excellent. The room was furnished well, the bathroom looked to be new. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The restuarant choices for breakfast was excellent. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely stay there again

Lovely stay

Very nice stay. Rooms very good for families, very friendly service. Swimming pool was a real bonus and surprisingly warm. Decent breakfast too.

I had no idea the hotel was halal. So no pork sausages, ham or bacon. You are given the option of throat slashed left to bleed, not stunned at pount of slaughter beef or chicken. Utter cruelty. Also no alcohol served. I woiuld Never have chosen tp stsy here as i have funded this. Next time I will double check. Continental breakfast is just toast & cereal & anchor butter.

We were impressed with the warmth of the hospitality we received at this quaint hotel. The gentleman opened the pool just for us for a quick dip even though it was closing very soon. The pool was so warm , especially in the pouring rain - lovely fun. The staff were very smiley, genuine, friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend

Very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The pool was very nice. Comfortable room with nice ensuite. Great breakfast and good choice of menu in the evening.

Check in was a breeze with very helpful and friendly member of staff. Room was clean and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked. Breakfast staff cheerful and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely stay again and highly recommend it.

Good for a stopover

Looks like the picture, average finish. Perfectly ok and 24/7 outdoor heated pool with a nice sun trap for the loungers. Staff exceptionally helpful. Our room had an issue with electrics but was sorted within an hour. The shower frame was un-finished but did work properly, no leakages and was a nice shower. Hotel is clean, just needs a little finesse. Town has places for dinner in walking distance as the hotel restaurant is not currently open.

Stay was nice but because of my experiences with Hotel.com and the financial losses, i couldnt enjoy my holiday at all. Best Western Fowey Valley is a wonderful hotel to stay and i will go again but probably not with Hotel.com.
