"What a great place to stay starting with a great welcome from lovely hosts! Immaculate accommodation throughout and genuine quality feel to the property. Plenty tea coffee and hot chocolate and lovely biscuits- thank you. Slept like a log mattress pillow and ambient temperature in the room perfect. Lovely large shower in Room 6 followed by fresh well cooked breakfast. All in all just a great place to stay ."

"I recently returned to Lindean Guest House in Dumfries as it is my preferred accommodation when on business in the area. Great customer care provided and above average rooms with excellent breakfast and free parking available. Definitely recommend, very close to town centre yet a quiet, comfortable stay."

"The hotel is a stately home. More like a Manor that is just outside Penpont; Thornhill is just a 5 min drive. It’s located in a gorgeous area surrounded by lovely old oak trees and the Scaur River. Excellent for a good walk. "
