"Choose this hotel as it was convenient en route to our greater trip. What a delightful choice, a 19th century town house tastefully renovated, maintaining it's historical features and charm. The hostess was a pleasure to meet, greeting us with a friendly and helpful manner, giving us information on where to eat along with the history of the building and town. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious and clean, the lounge & breakfast rooms were full of character, the breakfast was lovely and we had tea/coffee available at anytime."

"I can’t say enough good things about the family that runs Casa Dona and the property. They went above and beyond for our stay. From recommendations on what to do, traditional Portuguese dinners being served; cooked by the family and when my wife and I couldn’t get a taxi in the morning they drove us to the train station.
