"Excellent choice of breakfast, limited restaurant menu however it’s decent. Walking distance to a lot of great places, being in the city centre. Canal walk is 5 mins walk, library, eating places. Staff was polite and helpful. Wish had a swimming pool but otherwise 5/5 Do account for parking (£15-21 / day) and clean air zone charges £8/day "

"Very last minute booking due to issues with another hotel, due to the stress the hotel staff kindly upgraded our room which was very generous. Staff were very accommodating and kind, didn’t have to wait long for anything at all, everything we could possibly need was available to us within a matter of minutes. "Beautifully renovated to reflect 1920’s vibe - we loved being so central opposite Gaucho and the parking and shopping was much easier to walk to than we thought. Power shower great and Penhaligon toiletries made it extra special. We will return "

"Friendly greeting upon arrival, staff were very helpful. The room was bigger than anticipated which was a pleasant surprise, we really liked how the bedroom was separate from the living area. We wish there more hooks to hang coats, clothes etc and the bathroom was a little smaller than where we have stayed before as one of us has slight mobility issues so moving around the bathroom was tricky but not difficult. We will defintley be staying again, perhaps try the next size up. "

"Original room hadn’t been cleaned but replacement found quickly. Room was lovely and spacious every amenity you could wish for. Bed was king sized very comfortable. Bathroom let down by dirty shower tray, empty showergel dispensers. Breakfast was very good.paid around £80 for room which is about right"
