"Clean and easy"

"From booking the hotel the hotel to departure the communications with the hotel have been fantastic. We found the hotel easily with the help from emails sent from the hotel. Check in was not only speedy but super friendly. Karolima, the receptionist helped us plan our 2 night stay and gave brilliant recommendations. She was so warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The room was very clean and compact but perfect for what we needed. Our bed linen was slightly ripped unfortunately....

"The stay at the hotel was good. However there was a coach trip from Germany and some of those guests were very rude which affected our visit. It was a great shame. The hotel staff did a great job in trying to handle them.,"

"We love this hotel. The service is great. The bar is a very nice place with good wine and drinks. The breakfast is fantastic. The rooms are very comfortable with a nice view of the Loire."

"Good dinner and breakfast. Very dog friendly. Not so grand so didn’t worry about taking the dogs in. The dogs came to the dining room for dinner and breakfast and were given bowls of water. All in all comfortable and serviceable."

"An overnight stay in a setting where we would be happy for a week. Secluded lakeside retreat in delightful surroundings. No menu choice for dinner but we were warned in advance with details of what would be served and it was beautifully prepared. Air conditioning would have been welcome at 40+ but the fan helped. "

"This is not a 4 star hotel by any stretch of the imagination. They have no coffee in the room, no laundry service. We had to check in through the restaurant since there is never anyone at the reception. At check out, we had to leave early (6am) and there was no one there again, he asked us to wait till 8 am even when we told him we had a flight. We were never even informed that reception is not available 24x7 which is the norm at 4 star hotels. Not a pleasant stay."

"Beautifully presented hotel. Decor was superb and food delicious. Only fly in the ointment was no hot water for a shower in the morning otherwise would thoroughly recommend "
