"Bayshore Hotel in Dalian was nice and comfortable. However, the strange circular shower in the middle of the room had a leak that left the bathroom floor soaking wet. I requested some additional towels to our room since we used ours to put on the floor to mop up the volume of water that leaked but the staff just gave use 4 hand towels. That was disappointing. Nice location and close to Xinghai square, which is a great park on the waterfront."

"I like the location as it's close to transportation services and entertainment areas. Shopping is also very convenient. The property is well maintained, the rooms are very clean and the housekeeping service is excellent. Also, the Kerren Hotel also has a great buffet breakfast that I really enjoy."

"I just completed a 3 week stay in Dalian and surrounding area. Hotel was very close in experience to a Shangri-La. Cleanliness was very good, rooms were great. Housekeeping staff was outstanding as was laundry service. Pool use requires bathing cap and a couple other rules. What passes for a business office is not what I expected and requires staff assistance. Scope of business office services is limited, don't count on needing anything printed. "I’ve stayed here three times before. It is not a hotel you would expect in Shanghai or Beijing but for less than $60 it is a great value. The staff is generally friendly speaking little English. But more English than i speak Chinese. The breakfast is average to good depending on the time. Early is better. Watch out for traffic crossing the street. It is dangerous. "

"Stayed in annexed building that seemed to be part of a German beer establishment. A wall of empty beer cans, and overhead signs with a German name greeted you on the way to the rooms."

"Friendly staff, quick check in and out, two bedroom suite is clean and specious. Beds are comfortable. Close to Japanese restaurants. There is a door between toilet and sink, shower and tub. However, there is no shower curtain between sink and shower/tub. we were not very used to it. Overall a great stay and we are happy about it. "
