Ardingly Reservoir Looking down the footpath from Townhouse Farm. The reservoir was opened in 1978 filling the valleys once occupied by Shell Brook and Ardingly Brook. East and West Hammer Woods occupy the southern bank whilst the Ardingly Activity Centre is obscured by the trees of Fullingmill Wood to the left.
