The only downside is this property is so secluded there aren’t many options for restaurants within walking distance. "

"We booked this hotel as a treat. It is pricey so expectations were high and, unfortunately, they fell far short. On arrival, we were told there was no space at the restaurant for dinner, despite receiving an email the day before informing us they would reserve a table for us. Our “superior” double room was dark, pokey and dirty in places (stain on the headboard, cobwebs). There was one desk chair to sit in, only one small mirror, a half sized (height) wardrobe and no outside space, one of the...
