"This hotel, built in 1852, stands proud as a really great icon of classic architecture, situated in a place where it has a wonderful view of the sea and the beaches nearby. "This was a fabulous property. High end service. The staff was very attentive and personal. The one negative thing that I have to say is about the restaurant on site. The menu was fairly priced, so when the sommelier suggested we order the special I assumed that the pricing would be similar to the menu but of course being special would be more. Well to my surprise, when the bill was handed to me the fish dish for 2 was 154 Euros and the dish my son got was 90 euros whilst a similar dish...

"The staff was terrific and offered a great deal. The only incident was when the staff that did the laundry charged over 70euros more as they checked a box on my laundry sheet stating I wanted expedited service. And the laundry came back wet. They quickly resolved the issue by taking away the upcharge and taking our clothes back and drying them completely."
