The pillows were awful, bad night sleep. Luckily we were only there for one night! This let down the hotel and our experience staying there! "

"Excellent stay at the Cheval The Edinburgh Grand. It is located in the New Town area but it is a short walk to Old Town. We found it was a nice respite to leave the Old Town area due to how busy it is (think Times Square busy). Every person we encountered at the hotel was extremely nice and professional. Our room was clean and comfortable. would highly recommend to anyone visiting Edinburgh."

"The hotel was supposed to be in a central location but it was 12 minutes walk to the shops and then a further 12 minutes walk to the bars, so it was too much effort to go out for a beer and something to eat on Saturday night. In cold weather conditions, you really needed to take a taxi everywhere. It was deadly quiet too with no atmosphere. In fact, it was more akin to a gentleman's club, rather than a hotel. "The apartment is situated just outside the city centre down a charming back lane. It was clean, spacious and we were greeted by fresh flowers, coffee and short bread biscuits. We received several informative emails from the staff at Greatbase Apartments that helped make the whole check in and check out process seamless. Great apartment, would recommend. "
