"Good buffet breakfast. Well located"

"Lovely hotel, amazing history and features. Gardens are spectacular, views are great and small tea factory is a lovely touch. Food could be better (ate dinner and breakfast) but overall a lovely hotel with great heritage."

"Stunning location, rooms, facilities, food and the most friendly and helpful staff."

"Top !! Nous avons adoré logé dans ce cottage, c’est original et ça tient toutes ses promesses ! C’est une parenthèse dans votre voyage sri lankais, pendant une nuit on se croirait vraiment ailleurs ! Le personnel est adorable et le petit déjeuner très bien. "

"Nice peaceful location with Good views . Staff is very helpful"

"We loved our stay at this beautiful hotel. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful, catered to our needs very effectively"

"+++ Absolutely magnificent place with a wonderful history. The wooden features are beautiful and the bedrooms are outstanding. Wonderful snooker table and fireplaces. Lovely garden where you can sit and enjoy afternoon tea. The staff, especially Sameera, were absolutely excellent- they couldn’t do enough for us. "Excellent service. Very clean well kept room. Fantastic view and restaurant. Would definitely stay again. "

"Beautiful castle like hotel with excellent staff . Excellent scenery and excellent food. The only thing bad is the journey to the hotel is horrifying especially in the evening. It is not easy to find the place."

We also told them we needed to leave on the final day at 7.30 so wanted breakfast at 7. We arrived at the breakfast tent at 7 and no one was there. Unfortunately it was the same for the...

"High Class Service and Very Clean and tidy property Beautiful Place "

"Myself & my partner stayed here for 2 nights. Unfortunately the photos on the website do not represent the actual rooms that you get. For some reason, the lovely tiled floors in the photos have since been replaced with a dark red, dirty carpet which instantly makes the room feel unclean. The shower head did not prop up. On arrival the toilet seat had dried up urine all over it. The red carpet had dead flies & many black hairs on it. There was often a very strange loud mystery noise that vibrated...
