"Glangwili Mansion is a beautiful upmarket B&B, quite as good as all the previous reviews have rated it. The owners, George and Linda (and their friendly dog Willow), were welcoming and friendly and great at making suggestions of places to visit and places to eat. There is a great pub nearby and an excellent restaurant a little further away - for Londoners a meal to match anything in the city for half the price. George and Linda could not have been more helpful, phoning a local GP and arranged...

Glanrhyd station (remains), 1999. View SW, towards Llandeilo and Llanelli/Swansea: ex-GW&LNW Joint Vale of Towy section of the ex-LNW/GW Mid-Wales route, Craven Arms - Swansea. The station was closed 7/3/55, and the house is in private occupation. The line has survived as the 'Heart of Wales' route, with trains running via Llanelli(reverse) to Swansea High Street after the ex-LNW Pontardulais - Swansea Victoria line was closed on 15/6/64.
