"What a great place! A lot of historic charm and wildlife on the grounds - the staff were amazingly kind and gracious. Reception team was warm and welcoming. Excellent hot showers. In passing conversation, my husband mentioned that the Lake Naivasha Country club was where he proposed to me 25 years ago. "Getting to the property was tough, very tough but so worth it. I was lucky enough to go outside of the wet season but it was still hard. The facility itself is beautiful and the food is delicious. The staff is beyond kind and helpful. The shower though, it hardly worked and water went everywhere. The staff is beyond kind and helpful. The shower though, it hardly worked and water went everywhere. Booking online on their direct site was giving us a challenge until we booked through Expedia and from here we had no issues. There is not fitness room so that was sad and no iron. However, I will recommend this place to everyone I know and will be coming back. It is such a great place to come stay."
