"There was a problem with communication about the property. I was never told about the power outage and also the property did not have AC system in all rooms. Some of the doors were bad and were never fixed and this was the same complaint for past reviews. The host did not care too much. We were checked in late and were not even compensated for the check out. They had "I do not care" attitude. It is a beautiful property but a terrible host."

"We had a great stay at Kumbaya, it's a small guesthouse with secure parking close to Bloughberg beach, we walked to the beach each day. The guest house itself has all you need, the best breakfast, a pool and loungers, a small bar and great views of the sea. We would certainly recommend this for anyone looking for a relaxing break away from the busy nature of Cape Town."
