"This is the best place that I have ever stayed in. It’s truly magnificent. Historic, luxurious, serene and romantic. The staff were impeccable. The food was stunning. The grounds and amenities are second to none. Get a room in the main chateau if you can, they are absolutely fabulous. I cannot say enough great things about this property."

"This was a fantastic find. A beautiful hotel overlooking an idyllic country lake with staff who really know and appreciate customer service. Our room was very pretty with a fabulous bathroom! Don't miss dinner, it has a stylish yet rustic dining room with staff who are extremely helpful (the menu was in French and our reading skills weren't great!). Our dinner was delicious, 5*.

Beautiful castle in the countryside accessible by public transportation. The place is in walking distance to a village meat market and a bakery. We got food and wine from the village and had a lovely picnic in the garden. Overall a very special experience and we absolutely enjoyed the tranquility and natural beauty of this 16th century chateau. The room is spacious and clean and there’s a fan. Note that as usual window screen is not a thing in France, so come prepared with mosquito spray.

Very gracious hostess in a beautiful home. I think I was the only guest. The bathroom was a little down a hall, but maybe that would have been just mine to use anyway. I had to catch a very early train and she got up with me. It’s not marked on the outside as a hotel, but was easy to find. I would stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay here!
The owner was so welcoming, our room was large and comfortable, the breakfast was served in a nice room and the restaurant experience was superb - we had a delicious dinner outside on the terrace.
My son enjoyed dipping into the pool and our dog was happy all around! Great please highly recommend!
