"This hotel is huge but too remote from any sightseeing spots. The nearest subway station is 15-20 minutes walk. If you just want to relax and stay at the hotel all the time, it would be nice. There are a gym and a good sized swimming pool with no charge for guests. Room is spacious and comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the lake. Staff are friendly and helpful but only communicate in Chinese. There is no restaurant nearby. "

"Very close (walking distance if not raining) to the old city - allow a good day to cover it all, and this is one of the least commercialised water-towns accessible from Suzhou or Shanghai, but not much else to do there unless you're at a conference etc. that the hotel caters for. "From Expedia i can see that the breakfast added is for 2 pax but the hotel staff insists that it only covers for 1 pax. The hotel is good for family holiday but nearby has nothing much. Didi is a must in order to access to nearest shops and food stalls."
