"1. Run down and outdated accommodations. Bed made funny noises when moving on them. 2. Wifi was very spotty. Had to go in the lobby or the reception area to work. Big reception area. Careful as some cushions had gum stuck to it. 3. Hot water was spotty. Tip:. Put water pressure on low to have continuous hot water. 4. "Staff and security were very welcoming.Check in was quick and very informative about activities and all the amenities they offer.Room was very comfortable with a mini fridge which allowed us to stay in and eat in after being outside in the Luxor heat.Swimming pool was so relaxing with nice view of Nile river and mountains in distance.Continental breakfast with fresh pastries,omelettes,and fruit was the perfect start to the day.Would definitely recommend and would stay again.Also very close to everything and great central point for all activities"

"I Was On The 5th Floor, Beautiful Nile View And Pool View Room. Stunning Room, Tea/Coffee Fascilities. Comfy Bed, Amazing Power Shower. Wifi Excellent. Great Amenities And Great Location. Room Cleaned Daily. Very Gorgeous Hotel, Lovely Breakfast, With A Variety Of Choice. It Was The Staff That Did It For Me, Extremely Friendly, Kind, Accomodating Nothing Was To Much Trouble, Superb And Outstanding Hotel, I Will Be A Returning Customer. "Just checked out of the Old Winter Palace, a quietly dignified landmark built in 1886 for British aristocrats wintering in Luxor. Its faded grandeur still lingers—shaded colonnades, clipped gardens, and that peculiar hush found only in places touched by history. Howard Carter was staying here when news broke of Tutankhamun’s tomb; the echoes of that moment still seem to drift through the high shutters and marble halls. A retreat not of excess, but of atmosphere."

"This hotel is centrally located just minutes away from Luxor Temple and adjacent to the town market for souvenir shopping. Breakfast is served on the roof, but after that it turns into a full restaurant which also provides excellent lunch and dinner options. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating and the rooms were very well maintained. The only item small negative was that the rooms are pretty small (especially relative to the size of the bed), which makes it difficult to move around and open up luggage. But this is a just a minor inconvenience and should in no way affect your decision to stay here."
