"The hotel was in a fabulous setting in an old monastery. Notwithstanding its age, it had been modernised sympathetically and had the benefit of historical features with the comforts of modern age. We have stayed with Parador hotels before in Salamanca and feel they offer great value for money."

We had a good (included) breakfast but did not eat supper here as we were too hungry to wait for 9pm when they opened."
